Anonymous asked: Um I have a question why did it take you this long to develop and actually start your comic? By the way I love it already

Good question! Mostly because it was one of those stories I kept on the side so I could tweak it as I matured (some of the original elements had been quite…childish). I initially had dreams of using it as my first “real” work, as in something I hoped to make after graduating and send to publishers in hopes of getting the whole story picked up. Then one of the places I’d been counting on shut down and publishing in this country is kind of heading toward the crapper right now. I also wanted something I wouldn’t be ashamed of art wise, because I’ve done the whole ‘redraw the first chapter four times’ thing with another comic and all it does is keep the story from ever progressing since I’m never happy with it after a month or two.

Tl;dr- I wanted to wait until I was sure I could make it perfect but then I got older and realised that’s impossible and went for it anyway.
